Discover our consulting services
At Canado-Nacan Équipements, we have been providing loading dock safety solutions for over 40 years. We are a recognized leader in this field in Quebec. However, we know that the effectiveness of our solutions depends not only on their quality, which is undoubtedly essential, but also on their adaptation to the specific needs of our customers in order to achieve optimal results. This is why we have created a consulting service.
Why a consulting service?
To maximize the benefits of the solutions you choose from us, it is crucial to understand your specific needs. Our consulting service is based on this principle and ensures that your investment is well suited to your needs. Here are some key elements to consider:
- Risks associated with your operations;
- Measures to be taken based on frequency of dock usage;
- Precautions to be implemented based on building type, truck type and location.
It is also important for you to understand how the available solutions work.
What we offer
Our consulting service consists of two main offerings. First, we provide presentations. Second, we provide assistance with the design of your dock.
Presentations
Our experts provide detailed information on specific topics during a conference lunch. You can choose from several topics depending on your needs:
- Loading Dock Design;
- Loading Dock Safety;
- The Rite-Hite Fly-In Program;
- HVLS Fans;
- Innovations and New Developments in Your Industry.
Our scheduling is flexible, allowing you to schedule presentations based on the availability of relevant personnel. For example, for loading dock safety, the following individuals would ideally be in attendance:
- Warehouse and Logistics Managers;
- Plant Managers and Engineers;
- Health and Safety Committee Members;
- Project Managers.
Loading Dock Design
We provide support throughout the design process of your loading dock. This is done in two phases:
A loading dock design presentation
We cover topics such as safety, door dimensions, and types of levelers. We also discuss communication systems and other important accessories. This presentation typically takes one hour.
A Consultation
This second meeting allows us to understand your specific needs. We gather information on aspects unique to your facility, such as
- The type of building;
- Your business activities;
- The material handling equipment used;
- Any potential operational challenges.
This enables us to help you design a dock that is tailored to your operations and the risks associated with them.
We support you from the earliest stages of your projects
Our consulting service will help you define your needs and select the safety equipment that best suits your facility. This will help you avoid unnecessary expenses and ensure the profitability of your investment. Contact us for more information.
